Chrka ("we", "us", "our") operates the Chrka mobile application on iOS. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide you with the full social experience:

• Contact Info: Your name and email address provided through Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-in to create and authenticate your account.
• User Content: Quotes, literature, poems, comments, and profile bio that you write and publish, as well as avatar images and quote custom backgrounds you choose to upload.
• Identifiers: A unique User ID assigned to your account to associate your quotes, likes, and followers.
• Usage Data: In-app interactions such as likes, bookmarks, reading activity, and shares to build your personalized feed.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly for:

• Providing and maintaining the Chrka app and service.
• Personalizing your quotes feed and displaying your public profile.
• Enabling interactive social features such as following poets, liking, and bookmarking.
• Enforcing community guidelines and ensuring a respectful space for Kurdish literature.
• Sending optional push notifications about activity relevant to your account.

3. Tracking and Third-Party Advertising

We do NOT track users. We do not track your activity across third-party websites or apps for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account data is stored on secure, encrypted database servers. We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL in transit, AES-256 at rest) to safeguard your account.

5. Your Rights and Account Deletion

Under Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and global privacy regulations, you have full control over your data:

• Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly inside the app by going to Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your personal information is permanently removed.
• Profile Editing: You can edit or delete your name, bio, and avatar at any time from your Profile screen.

6. Children's Privacy

Chrka is designed for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
